Newspaper announcement of the engagement of William Burl Ledbetter and Barbara Jean McDuffie. The couple married on August 27, 1955, in Austin, Texas, uniting the Ledbetter line of Missouri and Arkansas with the Morris-Thompson-McAdams families of East Texas.
