Craig Alan Ledbetter

Craig Alan Ledbetter was the second son of William Burl Ledbetter and Barbara Jean McDuffie, born on February 20, 1963, in Austin, Texas. He grew up alongside his older brother Bill Jr., younger sister Kathleen, and youngest brother Paul.¹

Through his mother Barbara Jean, Craig is descended from the Morris, Thompson, and McAdams families of Walker County, Texas — a line reaching back to John McAdams Jr., who served with Sam Houston’s forces in the Texas Revolution. Through his father, he traces the Ledbetter line through seven generations in America, from his grandfather Col. John Jackson Ledbetter Jr. back to the first Henry Ledbetter.¹

Craig married Juanita Mae Dicken on May 24, 1985, in Springfield, Missouri. They had five children:¹
