Kathleen Elaine Ledbetter was the third child and only daughter of William Burl Ledbetter and Barbara Jean McDuffie, born on January 15, 1965, in Bryan, Texas. She grew up between her older brothers Bill Jr. and Craig, and her younger brother Paul.1

Through her mother Barbara Jean, Kathleen descends from the Morris, Thompson, and McAdams families of East Texas. Through her father, she traces the Ledbetter line back seven generations in America, beginning with her grandfather Col. John Jackson Ledbetter Jr..1

Family

Kathleen first married Eugene Myers. Their son Travis Eugene Myers was born on July 5, 1986, in Austin, Texas.1

She later married Jerry Ehrlich. They had two children:1

  • Robert Cody Ehrlich — born December 19, 1993, in Austin, Texas
  • Hunter Elaine Ehrlich — born December 20, 1998, in Austin, Texas
